On 16 October 2026, H.E. Mme. Phonevanh Outhavong, Deputy Minister and Standing Vice President of the Investment Promotion and Management Committee, received Mr. Fang Qiuchen, Chairman of the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA), and his delegation during their working visit to the Lao PDR.
The meeting focused on exchanging information and exploring opportunities to strengthen Laos–China cooperation in infrastructure development, promote investment, and facilitate cooperation between relevant institutions in both countries.
The Chinese delegation included CHINCA representatives and project management experts from Chinese universities. Their visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in infrastructure development and project management.
Established in 1988, CHINCA promotes international cooperation in construction and infrastructure, with member companies operating in more than 180 countries.
